I use almost same set of items but instead of Sapphire Amulet I get Scepter of Nisbet.
Think about it!

I prefer saphire because it gives mana, and mana regen because of glothes) Kara has very low mana bar (over 600 at 20lvl), so he needs some extra) But true is that it is not that cheap)

See I prefer to get my E first for tanking in the jungle, but I only leave that point in it, sure the damage reduction is low, but it comes in handy

And it's active splash damage still hits the primary target, so early on think of it as a decent steroid if you and your lane mate want an early kill.

The items I agree with

I think the jungle reasoning is probably not very sound. His submerge is going to return far more health than the passive would ever block in early jungling and it provides damage as well as a big AoE stun when he emerges again. It would add a nice bit of damage to an early auto-attack though, and may have some purpose there for early lane pressure.

I know, as well as silence duration etc.) Just looked how it pose and decided that it will be too parameter-based skill-explaining :) So removed that things)

Nysuss can wear 4 at once - quick, crit, randarz and serrated) So the only thing which remains is helmet + breastplate)

I've just got my crabb to level 42 and he's totally a beast! How ever I think his biggest strength is protecting your teams carries late game. If you have a half decent balak or nysus you can keep them safe from a enemy anti carry with your silence or submerge. Usually a good tzai is going to target your carries for a quick kill, but if you send his ass to the clouds your carry will rip him a new one before he hits the ground again, even mid stun he will be thrown of target and stuck in the open!

A good carry will win you the game if you can keep him alive, and there is nobody better suited to keeping them alive than the krab man!

Happy krabbing!!

Its a good build, when i first bought karapyss i used your build as a guideline for my own ^^. The only things id personally change are destroyers mantle for the penman, to reduce enemy carry dmg, and id build speed and magic resist in my relics as you can get enough armour from the champion/defence tree, and faster characters are more fun ^^. Karapyss's abilities do enough dmg/silence/stun to rely on them to get kills at any stage in the game without the need to sacrifice tankyness for magic penetration. If you build him my way hes difficult to kill but can also get kills of his own.

To sum up... ty for posting this build, its good, and helped me develop my own "tanky-er" build ^^

I build up with maximum speed - 6.5% from artifacts and 5% + 2 from trees :)
Yes, I like speed, too :)
And his skills are good enough to have no cooldown reduction, too ;)

Now I'm testing new set of artifacts - first for +100 HP and 3rd for +60 HP and +3 armor :) It's really interesting thing in my experience - he has 800+ HP and 3+ mana regen at start with duality, if take it at start :)

yeah his skills dont "need" the cooldown reduction so that's true, although i still go for them in totems, as i cant see any other ones that karapyss would benefit as much from apart from "perhaps" the magic pen (personal preference i suppose), the max mana ones dont give enough late game to warrant buying. Eventhough his cooldowns are low already id prefer to be able to spam abilties than do a little bit more dmg every once in a while... plus it reduces the heavily nerfed sig's cooldown ^^. I take my items in a slightly different order to yours as well, e.g. i get lytle locket very early on (not first) for mana regen, but sell it a few items later, so i get a different kindof mana regen at the start. Although with the rest of the artifacts like i said building +5 magic resist with talismans and then more magic + armour in symbols and relic, at lvl 50 and with points in defence tree can give karapyss 17 base armour and 16 base mgk resist. then just building health items gives him way more than enough health and resistance late game and very tanky at the beginning (approx 3,200 health when maxed i think, not sure about armour/magic resist atm). also i find most of the health items during the game are armour resist, with only 1 magic resist item giving a good amount of health, so building magic resist in artifacts then just gettting health from items seems to give the highest balance resistance wise :)

(sorry if my numbers are a bit off, im not level 50 yet and have just been working this stuff out by adding from defence tree and artifacts to my base magic resist and armour atm. Also sorry for the huge reply, i like to try get as indepth as possible)
