Patch Date: 16 March 2012

Following the release of Azcadelia, this patch focuses on fine tuning her as well as addressing a collection of gameplay issues thanks to community input. Check out below to see what's coming up!

Patch is scheduled to be implemented at 10pm PST / 5am GMT tonight the 15th:

Quote

1. HIGHLIGHTS
1.1. A handful of Azcadelia tweaks and improvements.
1.2. Roboscorpix broodlings now have a matching metal skin!
1.3. Hate accidental camera rotation? New setting to lock the camera to prevent this.


2. CLIENT
2.1. Added game setting to allow player to lock camera rotation.


3. IMMORTALS
3.1 Various Fixes and Features
a. Fixed visibility bug with minions created or resurrected while immortal is in brush.
b. Adjusted casting seconds to be no more than 0.4 seconds; affects Aislynn, Trovoc, Netheurgist.

3.2 Scorpix
a. Roboscorpix broodlings now have matching metal skin.

3.3 Ichorr
a. Removed the Instant Heal mention from Ichorr's Thorn Barrier Next Level section.

3.4 Azcadelia
a. Increased selection ring size on Azcadelia.
b. Limited shadeling growl repeats in the hub.
c. Fixed typo on ability tooltip to Abyssal Queen.
d. Corrected Web of Shadow description to read 'depreciating' not 'deprecating.'
e. Added break brush, invisible, and FOW on target for duration of Fear Thy Shadow.
f. Shadelings will break off target when the target goes invisible.
h. Shadelings spawn immediately so now Fear Thy Shadow is an option at level 1, updated tooltip for Shadelings to reflect the innate shadeling presence.
i. Casting avatar weapon ability will stop entire movement group (prevents shadelings, broodlings misbehaving when using attack-move, for example).
j. Changed Umbral Veil tooltip for Azcadelia to state "blocks targeted projectiles" to clarify abililty.
k. Improved following code for Shadelings so they track their targets more closely.
l. Fix for leftover health bars on dead shadelings.


4. MAP/GAMEPLAY
5.1. Various instability issues addressed and fixed.

What did you expect?
They will nerf her later (may be), after the sales are done or when next immortal will show up. That new immortal will be nerfed later after...

Still Kaos invisibilty is broken (20% that enemies will see you while you are cloaking) or any first missile or autoattack can easy land on him.
No fix for creeps ignoring bushes.
No fix for Kaos sig.

Only played two games since the patch with Azzy, but her 'lings are acting weird. When I FTS, the lings attack and surround as usual, then after 1 hit from each, they all jerk towards me (even if I am very close to enemy) and then go back and attack the enemy. This means that I have to detonate before they even hit the enemy once OR wait around 3 seconds for them to surround enemy again. If enemy moves, this generally means it is impossible to detonate on them from an FTS.

What is with the odd lings movement?

I will be sure this gets reported. I know the developers are continuing to work on some immortal and creature movement path issues, they will be adressing them for the next patch cycle. Thanks for the report.

I guess you didnt fix her waypoints bug when you rapidly left click and sometimes she turns around for a second?

btw i got a nice idea: when any character goes invisible it will automaticly disable auto-attack for that time

Glad to see some of the abilities cast times are getting limited. That should help some of the characters feel a little more responsive.

I already posted that idea before post and I also posted the idea of making the shadeling's skin follow Azca's skin, Which they did too :P (Before Azca Came Out), It's awesome and it's good for petro to make money, also gets the players excited that there's more change than normal.

Hopefully it fixed loosing control of Azcadelia and walking off the screen. Only way to get back in game is to B back to base.

I'm sorry the patch didn't quite live up to your expectations.

I will note somethings about the last few immortal releases. If I need to pull links and quote, I can to back up what I'm saying.

Trovoc: Took buffs over time
Talia: Took a nerf two patches afterwards
Pycon: Took buffs over time.
Kavashir: Still not quite up to par, has been buffed and indirectly nerfed over time.
Ukkonen: Needed a strong buff one patch straight after
Kaos: Needed a buff one patch straight after

To say, Petroglyph releases immortals that are always OP in order to sell is just plain wrong. Petroglyph isn't HoN/LoL developers. The immortals go through internal and external testing before being released which helps iron out the drastic extremities that occur in other games.

About the KAOS invisibility bug, are you seeing the bug as KAOS or fighting Kaos?
Creeps ignoring brush? What do you mean in lane or jungle creeps?
How is kaos's sig broken? Does it not do damage or something?

dude no offense but the last 3 immos released are all op. now that cant be just a coincidence.
i understand that they have to keep the game interesting but i think this is not the right way to do it.
keeping up the price for the op immos is just a way to encourage a pay for win "feature" of this game.

Both. Even if Kaos is cloaked any autoattack or missile (e.g. Lazarus Oblivion missile) after 0.5 sec will land on him. That's a bug. All attacks should be immediately interrupted. Or another bug - he can just be visible for 1.5 secs or the whole duration of Q. All attacks or abilities will work on him. No truevision in the area.

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Too much preparation time, animation and duration. Too short cast range. Sig is too easy too avoid.

The only thing Sig is good enough at - defending towers or destroying towers (it acts somewhat like Trovok's R). And other immortals' sigs are great for killing. Especially Azca, who can combine all her abilties on her own and kill everyone.

Kaos has no combos.

Completely useless W ability close damage buff - no chance to hit an opponent with it.

You're totally right, the Q 'stealth' attack just doesn't work properly. Because his defence isn't that great your life really depends on the getting away part. If this is broken; you're keep on getting killed for no good reason.
All this dancin' around again.
