The legend of Aislynn began in a time before recorded history, when gods still walked the world, and the planet was utterly wild and pure.
Themra, God of the Mountains, met his lover, Ixdua, Goddess of the Moon, and the two of them conceived the child that would be come to known as Aislynn. With the coming of the dawn, Ixdua wept because she had to leave her child. Themra proposed a solution-- they would each send a trusted servant to watch Aislynn. To that end, Themra sent a mighty bear and Ixdua sent a she-wolf.
For years, Aislynn lived in harmony with the world, and her protectors kept her far from the machinations of man. But one day while picking berries, a small girl stumbled into Aislynn's grove and begged the young goddess to save her people.
Aislynn followed the girl and saw that her village was under attack by barbarians. With nothing more than crude club, Aislynn utterly destroyed the attackers, shattering their bodies against the boulders that ringed the village. Although Aislynn was forbidden from living amongst the mortals, she promised that she would remain their protector.
Distraught over being summoned to Graxia, Aislynn fights so that she can return home and once again watch over the people under her charge.
